how do I adjust the position of the vertical lines in pleadings?

I am trying to move the right single vertical line in the pleading template
to the right. How do I do that?
 
Go to View>Header and Footer, click the line & nudge it with the right arrow
key... However, you realize that changing the position of that line will put
it out of place relative to margins and the rest of the document layout,
right?
