Hi! :-)

I'm talking about start/run/msconfig/startup tab. I need to either know how
to add to that or how to set a program and a specific folder in windows
explorer to open on startup.

Thanx in advance :-)

You don't add to msconfig. It just shows what is starting from specific
locations. Check the program for an option to start when windows starts.
If that doesn't exist put the exe file in the startup folder. Look at the
entries in msconfig to see the various locations from which programs are
started.

I know that you could create a batch file or script to achieve the same; if
you post the program path and the folder, maybe someone here can write the
code for you.

Put it here
Drive:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
or here
Drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Right click Folder or Application > Click "Create Shortcut"

Cut the shortcut and then type this in Start > Run
start menu\programs\startup
then paste it there

That should be a shortcut to the file or folder in the startup folder.
