The New Document Task Pane has a Templates section with only three choices:
Office Online, My Templates, and My Web Sites. I want to list my most common
templates in the Task Pane so I don't need to click to the folder and select
it from a long list. How can I do this?

You neglect to mention the version of Word you use. However, I believe that the
templates you select from the dialog box should appear in the list (the most
recent four or five used).

Cindy ->
It's Word 2003 SP1 and I have the same version on my desktop and laptop but
get a very different task pane on the two platforms. On the desktop I cannot
get it to show the recently used templates. I cannot find an option to
enable this. On my laptop running everything the same, I get the last 4
templates in the task pane under the heading "Recently Used Templates" just a
you described. My question is how to get it to show that way on the desktop?

Thanks -> Larry
