I had a virus and had to have my windows reinstalled as well as my Office
Basic. The tech saved my old pst files but I don't know how to add them to
the new outlook setup.

Open the Mail applet in Control Panel and click Data Files. Click Add and
browse to the old PST. Select it and click OK. If you want it to be your
default folders again, click the E-mail Accounts button in the Mail applet,
select "View or change existing e-mail accounts", and click Next. At the
lower left, change the drop-down labeled "Deliver new e-mail to the following
location" to point to your old PST. Click FInish. Exit the Mail applet.
Start Outlook.

Depends where the data files have been saved to

Basically within Outlook, File>Open>Personal folders........browse to the
location of the data file - BUT, it depends where they have been saved to as
to whether you need to do something else first
