How do I add an image editor for word 2003 when app not listed ?

Using Word 2003' XP Under TOOLS there is a drop down for image editors but
only lists word 2003 as an editor. I have other apps I wish for Word to use.
How do I add editors when they are not in the drop down choice?
 
You don't, unfortunately. The only options are Word and MS Photo Editor; not
even other Microsoft graphics applications apply.
