I do a weekly TV program on small outdated equipment. I need to scroll
credits at the end of the program. I use Power Point 2000

Try this.

Create MOVIE CREDITS-style crawling text

There is a crawl animation available in PowerPoint 2000, but it's very fast and
you may not like it. You create the list in a text box, apply the animation and
then drag the text box up and off the slide. You can include blank lines
between the list items to make it a little more readable.

There's much better animation speed control in PowerPoint 2002 and 2003 and your
credits can roll a lot slower by using the advanced time line.

Is there any way to create a scrolling text box that has a slider on the
right side, so that users can scroll the text -- up and down -- at their own
speed?
