Example: I want to add 10% to the value of each number in rows A1 through to
A500. Each cell contains a different value. (ie. 5, 6.75, 3.15 etc). I know
how to add a percentage to a single cell but is there a way you can add a set
percentage (10%)to several hundred cells at once without having to do them
all individually? Your help is very much appreciated.

Put .10 in a cell somewhere>copy it>highlight the cells to change>edit>paste
special>multiply

Select a new, empty cell.
Format it to match the cells you're looking to revise ($0.00 for example).
Enter 1.1 into this cell.
Right click and choose "Copy".
Select the cells you wish to change.
Right click in this selection and choose "PasteSpecial".
Click "Multiply", then <OK>, then <Esc>.

I have done what Messa has asked, as I had the same problem, but after I
highlight and paste, each cell doesn't have the formula in it and the number
in each cell is reduced. Clear as mud?? What am I doing wrong?
