how do I access a file called *.pst-I keep getting the message th.

I have a file on cd that i burned from my old harddrive and I'm trying to use
import in outlook and it won't let me. Get the message that "file access is
denied". this file was made with outlook and i'm trying to import it into
outlook. please email me if you have the answer!!! :)

additionally, the read-only access needs to be removed from the PST. Outlook
needs write access to open PST files.

Follow BiilR's advice about moving the PST to hard drive and removing the
read-only access. DON'T follow Kkat's advice about importing. Just click
File>Open>Outlook Data File in Outlook to open the PST.
