I have been using a Works database for some time and would now like to start
using Access. Can I transfer all my data and form design to Access? Or must I
redesign and input everything manualy? Any advice will be much appreciated.

From what I have read, you cannot import it.

You might be able to export the table data to a csv file or similar and
import the data to Access. I'm pretty sure the forms must be recreated.

This is particularly useful b/c the first article links you to another
article addressing the "The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the
object filename. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and
the path name correctly."

It had not even entered my mind that the problem could be the filename
LENGTH! I have been very frustrated by this and truly at an impass!

THANK YOU!!!!!
