how do change the name of an attachment ie word doc?

In Outlook 2000 after I attached a doc, I was able to highlight the doc and
then change the name of the attachment. Doesn't look like Outlook 2003 like
this - I am using XP. Has this nice feature been removed with the latest and
greates?
