How can outlook sort by conversation?

I have a rule sending all email from a listserv to a specific folder in
outlook. When students send questions to this listserv, I reply to all with
an answer. So, I would like to sort by convesation (where the re: and fw:
are ignored). However, for some reason the mail will not sort this way. Does
anyone know why this would happen? thx
 
Depends, what method and version of Outlook are you using now?
View-> Arrange By-> Conversation does the trick for me.
