How can links be active with fill in forms as doc protection?

When setting document protection's editing restrictions to "filling in forms"
, is there a way to enable hyperlinks to still be live? When this level of
document protection is set, the hyperlink in the document does not allow a
user to click on it and go to a page on our intranet for further information.
