How can I use Text to wipe out subsequent dates?

Hi.

I have a project tracking spreadsheet that I need help with.
In F2 the project leader enters a start date, In G2 a formula computes a
Estimated Finish Date based on F2 input, in G2 the project leader enters an
Actual Finish Date.....other Estimated Finish Dates are computed on down the
line based on F2.
What I need is a way to allow the project manager to enter text in the G2
cell and if they enter text then all the subsequent cells turn blank. The way
it is right now they can enter text (like "inactive") and all the subsequent
dates remain.

Ideas?
Thanks
Max

See correction below..... H2 is the cell that they need to be able to enter
dates or text

Sorry

Max,

If the data needs to be truly cleared, a macro would be needed. If it just needs to appear
blank, conditional formatting in all the cells could turn it white, based on what's in H2.
Any formulas elsewhere would still see the data.
