How can I use a bak file to restore a lost master access database

I recently lost the master database following a failed attempt to replicate
it. As part of this process I created a backup of the original. How can I
make this bak. file my master copy so that I can perform all usual operations?
 
Copy it, and rename the copy to whatever the original database was called.
