I set up a wired home network with Win XP Wizard by mistake because I had
already set up a wireless network. Now this wired network causes me
problems but there is no wizard to uninstall it. As I don't know enough, I
am afraid of doing something wrong if I uninstall it by myself. Could
someone help me uninstalling it, please?

Simply disable it. In Network Places, right-click and select Disable.

Thank you very much. I disabled it. Would you know by any chance how I
could fix the wireless network that I created with the Win XP Wizard and
that does not work?

Well, yes as I wrote in my previous post, I was able to disable it without
any problem on the new computer but I can not disable it on the old one. I
get the message: "it is not possible to disable the connection at this time.
The connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug
and play or may have been initiated by another user on the system account."
I am the only user.

I see a Network bridge on the new computer but none on the new one. If I
try to disable the Network bridge, I get the message: "it is not possible to
disconnect at this time. The connection is currently busy with a connect or
disconnect operation". I have the option to delete it, with a left click
but I am not sure I can do that.

Just delete the network bridge. If you are not trying to use bothe wired &
wireless at the same time.

If I try to delete the Network bridge, I get the message: "an unexpected
error occurred while configuring the network bridge". and it is not deleted.
But it is all right now because disabling the wired network in my new
computer seems to have fixed the problems on the old one.
I still can not see one machine from the other though, they are both
connected to the wireless router but not to each other. The network I
created with Win XP wizard does not work. Can someone help?
