How can I store the relationship arrangement in the window?

I have Access2003

I have an extensive relationship window
content, all arranged in a familiar pattern
that suits me.

How can I store, or "lock in" this
arrangement that is immune to Access upgrades
and crashes?

I can manually rearrange to the original
configuration, but this is extremely time
consuming.

Please help, Frank

AFAIK, there's no way to do that. in A2003, you can open the Relationships
window and, on the menu bar, click File | Print Relationships... Access
will reproduce the layout of the objects in the Relationships window in a
report, that you can save in the database for future reference. this option
may also be available in A2002 and/or A2000, you'll just have to take a
look.

For the most part, the layout should not change. I am not sure why it is for
you??

I assume you have the database split into two parts. The layout, and
relationship window should be laid out in the back end part...NOT the front
end.

Since you will be frequently updating your users software, no doubt you
split...else how can you provide updates and bug fixes to users currently
running the software without overwriting the data? If you new to this split
concept, I explain it in detail here

As for saving the layout...turns out the wizard living in a tall tower call
Stephan has built such a tool as you ask...

It allows you to "save", or export the layout...and then restore it...

You can find it here

For crashes, nothing beats a recent, stored safely away, backup of the
database. That will do much more than just saving the relationships.
