HELP!

I have a new Toshiba Satellite P25-S487 laptop computer,
with a 17" LCD display. The operating syatem is Windows
XP Home Edition. I would like to have my display, my
desktop, and/or windows media movies duplicated on my
Pioneer 50" Plasma TV in the same room.

With my previous Toshiba laptop computer, which ran
Windows 2000, this was not a problem. I could work on my
computer, and people in the same room could follow along
by watching the big screen. What am I doing wrong?

Is it necessary for me to buy the "Media Edition" of
Windows XP? If so, how much does it cost, and would it
solve my problem?

Thanks!

Chris,

Some laptops require that you enable the external monitor connection.
For some video drivers, that may be a setting under Display
Properties. Or, you may have to go into the BIOS setting when you
reboot.

Cheers,

Chuck
