How can I reorder attachments to an Outlook email?

I want recipients to view a series of photos in the correct order, but
Outlook seems to choose its own order. Renaming the files doesn't work - F
appears before A, 7 appears before 1. Any suggestions?
 
They are ordered in the way that you added them but don't rely on that as
mail servers, message conversions, 3rd party mail scanners, receiving mail
client and lots of other things can interfere with what the recipient will
actually see. Simply refer to the pictures by name in the order that you
want in your message or insert the pictures inline so it will become a
storybook. So use Insert-> Picture... instead of Insert->File...
