How can i recover a powerpoint file lost during a program crash?

i had been working on a presentation for a while, and when i tried to save it
to a floppy disk the program crashed and all my work seems to be lost. I was
wondering if an autosave file was available somewhere, because i hadn't saved
it or named it prior to saving it on a disk.

Chances are that the file is lost. Before I tell you what you might try, don't
ever save to a floppy disk. That is possibly why you had the problem. Always
save to your hard disk and then copy it to a floppy if necessary.
