How can I prevent receiving my emails in triplicate?

Hi. I'm using Outlook 2002 and lately every email that I receive comes in
three times. How can I get back to receiving just one copy of my emails.?
 
A great deal depends on your account configuration.
POP3, Exchange, IMAP, HTTP, other?
How many accounts do you have configured?
