How can I paste an Excel chart with correct warping?

I have an Excel with with one of its columns containing non-line broken data,
sometimes as long as 300 bytes. In Excel I have dealt with it nicely with
warping and adjusting column width, but when I copy & pasted it into word, it
seemed that column widths and warping has disappeared, and the column in
question spanned the entire length of the longest entry in one line, such
that it filled the page and the document cannot function. How should I
correct that?

Hi Sam

If you want the text to be editable in Word, then you have to re-format in
Word, as you've discovered.

However, if you don't need to edit the text in Word, then copy the range as
usual, and then in Word do Edit > Paste Special and choose to paste as a
picture.

Hope this helps.

Hi, Shauna,

The problem is, the Sheet I need to transfer onto Word spans for a few pages.

Hi Sam,

Unfortunately Word has a limitation on graphics and
objects of one printed Word page in size. You may
be able to assign range names to the sheet and paste
selected sections as pictures if you need the worksheet
but the chart should paste as a single item but it
will 'shrink to fit' the Word limitations.
