How can I open a Word merge document from within Access?

I'm a non-programmer, but savvy enough Access user. I have mail merge
documents (Word) that I want to be able to open from an Access form with a
click of a button. What is the code needed to do that?
 
That is a nifty little database, but I'm not sure it will work for me. A
multi-table parameter query feeds the merge; the selection for the parameter
is on a picklist on the form. Will that make a difference?

I have not tested this. In any case, I do not understand your reference
to "selection for the parameter", nor the meaning of "picklist". But I
don't see that the nature of the data source for the merge, i.e. whether
the merge data is a table or a simple query or a complex query, will
make any difference as to the applicablilty of Albert's method.
