I'm running Outlook 2003 on two computers. I need to frequently copy the
outlook.pst file back and forth between them. In previous versions, a simple
copy with windows explorer worked. I currently copy the file onto a jump
drive, then try to import the data. Under 2003, the new file (on the jump
drive) seems to become overwritten with the old file on the computer. Any
tips on the proper process?

With Outlook closed, copy the PST to the jump drive. On the other computer,
start Outlook and click File>Open>Outlook Data FIle, browse to the PST on
the jump drive, select it and click OK. You'll now have access to all the
data therein.

NEVER import a PST if you don't want to lose data.

Is it possible to merge .pst files.

I have 3 machines all Xp with Outlook 2003 connected via lan but only
with Dial up internet access.

Is it possible to sync all three adress books?

Well, the "address book" is just a vew of the contacts folder(s) in your
PST(s) and you can certainly transport PSTs, so, sure, if you do it
correctly.
