I have both Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 (on different computers). I much
prefer the layout and overall style of Outlook 2000; however I would prefer
to use Outlook 2003 as my main program since I think some of the newer
features are really useful. Is there any way to configure Outlook 2003 so
that its presentation mimics that of Outlook 2000 (especially the calendar
and sidebars - I can't stand the new sidebar layout!)? Thanks

You cannot get back the Outlook Bar - it is gone (good riddance), but you
can set your view to be more like Outlook 2000. Use the reading pane at the
bottom, in the calendar view turn off the Navigation Pane and elect the view
to view tasks. That should take care of most of your requests.

After furious head scratching, Mike asked:

Thanks. Though I disagree with your sentiment about the Outlook Bar, I
appreciate the help configuring my calendar.
