how can I keep spell checker in outlook 2000 when I remove Word and Excel 2000 from a machine ?

I have to remove Word and Excel 2000 from a machine. When I do this, it takes away spell checker from the e-mail. The spell check is no longer available in outlook after word gets removed. Any ideas on how I can prevent this from happening ?
 
Choose a custom install. Spell Check is a shared component and is listed
under Shared Components. Mark it to install it to your computer.
