How can I import netscape local mail into Outlook 2003?

We're going from a Netscape environment to a Outlook environment here at
work. However I've got thousands of emails that I have stored in my local
email. Is there a possibility I can import these Netscape local mails into
Outlook (thought this was possible with Outlook Express). If this is not
directly possible, is it possible through a 3rd party app?

cheers

The method you need to use is to import it from Netscape into Outlook
Express and then export it from there to Outlook. If you have a Netscape
version higher than V4, you'll have install and migrate to Netscape V4 and
from there import into OE. Here's a link that describes it:

There may be third party apps. Google for "(import OR export) (mail OR
messages) outlook netscape -express". This will find all messages referring
to transferring mail between Netscape and Outlook while excluding those
messages that refer to Outlook Express.

Thanks Brian - tried this and it works. Luckily we have express installed as
well... strange that it cannot be done via Outlook itself.
