How can i import my messages from a hotmail account to microsoft outlook or
from a yahoo account.
 
Not sure if they allow for exporting to external clients but you might want
to check the online help for each system.

It's easy to move your messages from a Hotmail account to a local PST in
Outlook. Just open each Hotmail account and copy its contents to a folder
you create in a local Outlook PST.

As for Yahoo folders, I don't know any easy way. Perhaps one way may be to
create an account in Outlook that uses POP to access the Yahoo mailbox,
pulling down the contents of the mailbox (only the Inbox will be accessed).
You can then move the Inbox to another folder in Outlook. Next, via web,
move the contents of a Yahoo folder to the Yahoo Inbox and allow Outlook to
download it again. Again move the contents of the Outlook Inbox to another
folder. Proceed with the next Yahoo folder until all have been downloaded.
Of course, this requires using a paid Yahoo account (in North America, at
least), since POP access to free accounts is not allowed.
