How can I get Quarter 1 of the financial year to start in April?

I am running a query on an invoice database and Quarter 1 of the year seems
to start in January. I need Quarter 1 of the financial year to start in
April. Any ideas on how I can get this to work??

Hi Anne,

If you are simply trying to get
the quarter of a datefield in your
query, then following past reply
from Allen Browne may help:

CASE: fiscal year starts April 1

Add -3 months to the date:

DatePart("q", DateAdd("m", -3, [MyDateField]))
