I had my autosave set for every 10 minutes and I did not save new data when
clsing down the program. However I have lost 2 days worth of work 19 slides
with detailed amination is there any way of finding these files.

Only chance is to search for ppt*.tmp and try to locate the correct file It
will be in the format ppt (number).tmp IF its there at all!

What John said.

I just wanted to mention that there IS no AutoSave feature in PPT. The option
is "Save AutoRecovery info" which isn't quite the same thing as the AutoSave
feature normal humans might expect.

This saves info so that PPT can attempt to recover your file IF it crashes. If
you quit normally ... nada.

Suggestion: visit http://skp.mvps.org and have a look 'round. There's an
autosave addin available there. IT does what you'd want it to. And it's free.
