I would like to change the default to another photo viewer other then MS
picture manager. How can disable or change the photo viewer that Outlook
uses?

it's not outlook, but the file association. Open My Documents and find a
picture you want opened in another program and right click, choose open
with. Even if the preferred program is listed, choose Choose Program. Select
the program and check the always use box. Repeat for each file type that
needs changed.

Diane, thank you for your insignt. It did work well when I specified a file.
But how do I change my system so that for email attachments jpeg file open
in another viewer program other then MS photo manager. CB

Diane's method should work for the JPG file extension no matter where it is,
including on Outlook attachments.
