you an idea of just how complicated you don't realize the process
is, you need the E13B font and MICR toner/ribbon to print the
routing and account numbers at the bottom of a check, and the
remainder of the printing (both front and back) and the paper you
print your checks on must conform to Federal Reserve Board
Regulation CC, Regulation Z, and Check 21.
