How can I defrag old "restore files" on my hard drive?

When I run Norton Professional defrag tool and analyze my C: drive (160GB) all the fragmented files are old restore files. Norton documents say that they cannot defragthose NTFS files. These files are causing defrag levels of >60% to appear on my defrag alarm. How can I remedy this? Can these files be defragged? Do I need to delete them?
 
Anything more than the last two or three SRP's are useless
anyhow. Why not delete them and save the space and hassle?

Executive software's diskeeper is a better program for defrag, imho. It
will defrag restore files. Haven't come across any files it can't
defrag. and it's very reliable.
