How can I bottom post?

I tried a search, as I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times,
but I was unable to formulate my question well enough.

Is there no way to bottom post replies in any Outlook? I don't really care
about the fact that the default is top posting, but surely there's a way to
have a choice. For years, the way I have done it when forced to use Outlook
is by forcing everything to text rather than html, and cutting & pasting.
Then it occurred to me that there is a resource I hadn't checked to find out
how to do this.

Thanks for your time.

Outlook does not offer a choice- if you want it at the bottom you'll need
to put it there yourself. If you use Word as your editor, you can use
autotext to insert it where you want.

Thank you, Diane. I am astonished.

ok--surely there must be a simpler way to bottom post the signarture by now
......there's no way anyone woul dwant o do this manulayy when doing dozens of
emails per day. How can ANYONE POSSIBLY STAND reading thru a sig file to get
to the body of an email ?? this is enought to make one change prgrams. a
proper email program like eudora has always let me put the sig at the bottom
where it belongs.

Top posting assumes you know (or remember) what the message is about and
only want to read the reply, but have easy access to the original if
necessary to refresh your memory.

I know I don't want to scroll through many, many quoted lines looking for
the reply, especially when the reply is 2 lines (or two words) long. It's
almost as bad as people who don't quote anything and I need to look up old
messages to remember what the discussion is about.
