How can i auto-send a messege on a specific (future) date?

i need to schedule my computer to send a set messege to certain individuals
as a reminder the day before their event. i would like to use an auto-send
feature, so i could schedule it, check on it once a week, and let it work for
me. Can outlook do this? if not, does someone else?
