I have created a form which I have created and protected. I want to add that
to the beginning of another document. I am adding it by choosing File from
the Insert menu. I have tried it with the form being saved as both a
document and as a template. In both cases it loses its protection which
means it can't be tabbed through any more. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Alane

The problem you're experiencing is due to the fact that document protection is
managed at the "document level" ("in" the last paragraph mark). And exactly this
is removed when you use Insert/File.

You'd need to
- insert a section break
- insert the file
- Tools/Protect document, click Sections and deactivate protection for the
other sections. OK. OK.
