Hi guys, now I have finished the whole database, and have a .mdb, so what's
the next step i should do? Just upload it to the server, or have to create
some other files or application? Thank you.

Thanks for reply, but if I don't wanna to install the "front-end" on each
workstation, just want save the database on the server, and let users to
visit it on server, is that the same?

No, it's not the same thing. Having multiple users logging into the same
database increases the risk of database corruption significantly.

If your concern is that you might make changes to the front-end and you'd
have to ensure that each user got a new copy of the database, see the free
Auto FE Updater Tony Toews has at http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/autofe.htm

No. Of couse, many users don't want to install word on their macine to use
word. And many users don't want to insqall Excel on thir mahcine to use
Excel.

You are fighting how compuers work here!!

opps..bumped send key...

No. Of course, many users don't want to install word on their machine to use
word. And many users don't want to install Excel on their machine to use
Excel.

You are fighting how computers work here!! As my article mentions, there is
no problem sharing the data, but the application part needs to be installed
on each computer, and if you don't, then the problem of "one" person will
become the problem of many, and that is just not a reliable.
