Whenever I hover over or highlight files with a certain
extension, mainly .mod, .xm, or .s3m, which are types of
music files, Explorer.exe immediately crashes. I have
never seen such a bizarre bug before. Anyone know
anything about this? This only started happening
recently, and the only thing i've done of note is install
some windows updates.

x-no-archive: yes

My guess is you have some media-related shell extensions installed,
which are causing the crash. An example of this would be a third-party
media player.

Do you have the x-mouse setting enabled? (Activation follows the mouse
rather than clicking being required.) Suggest that you look in your
control panel\ tweakUI settings.
