Strange occurance only seen in XP Professional with IE.60. I've had a few site visitors to www.suspenders.com who say they cannot navigate the site using the Frontpage hover buttons using XP professional. All navigation Frontpage generated hover buttons show as white boxes with a red X. I've tried these pages with Win98SE Win 98ME Win 2000 and XP home edition and all work fine with IE 6.0. Only WIN XP professional seems to have this problems and none of the "tools" security settings or advanced settings get these hover buttons to work or display.

Does this mean thta Microsoft in XP Professional wonld view and MS Frintpage Hover buttons?

Works for me... I have XP pro and IE 6. Love the suspenders by the way, my husband
has three pair.

Would Java have anything to do with the problem? I found this line in
"suspender" HTML code:

<applet code="fphover.class" codebase="_fpclass/" align="baseline" width="80"
height="33">

I am not savvy to such things, but the thought occured to me that perhaps it's a
WinXP SP1(A) problem.

Well I have tried accessing www.suspenders.com with 3 different XP-Home systems and they all seem to work on diusplaying the Microsoft Frontpage generated hover buttons. Use them for site navigation to various suspender styles and content sections. Several site visitors have called or sent e-mails saying they can't navigate the site and say they have XP with IE6.0. I'm thinking that maybe an XP Home or Professional UPGRADE retains the java portion of the older Windows version. XP professional new installs might not have Java support for standard HTML java scripts!

Windows XP does NOT include Java (neither does SP1a). And the above
statement is calling a Java class (or applet) to run. Download JVM
from http://java.sun.com.
