I have built a webpage (with MS Frontpage) using hover buttons. They show up
on every PC of everyone I know except for the PC of the person it was built
for. Why will they not show? The PC in question is new running on XP and I
can find no reason why they do not show up. PLEASE HELP!

Does the PC in question have a Java virtual machine installed? If not the
hover buttons won't work.

I'm not sure. How do I find out and correct if need be?

Thanks for your reply

Look in the Start Menu>Programs, or in Add/Remove Programs, or in the
Program Files folder for a Java folder. If they don't have one (as I
suspect they don't), have the person download Sun Java from:

http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp

You might want to keep this in mind though for your webpage design: not
everyone looking at the page will be running Java.

<sigh> And for that we can thank "Sun v. Microsoft". ;-(

(PS - I use the hover buttons too. Just too darned pretty. <G>)
