Hi

I have a column containing hours and minutes- formatted customer hh:mm. How
do I add them up so that I get the total number of hours and minutes
required and not the days:hours:minutes.

Thanks
Alex

Hi Alex

You need to format the cell. Specify a 'custom' format and
set it to [h]:mm.

Hope this helps.

I am just about to add a new item, because I want to find
out if anyone knows how to display negative time.

Regards

Dave

Assuming the times are Excel recognized times, SUM the column and format the
result as [h]:mm
