I have been searching everywhere for help in getting my
new HP Pavilion zt3000 to accept data from my Palm Pilot
M-130. I've loaded the program, made sure all was on OK,
and performed the "sync." Bingo, all the pictures and
noises that suggest victory. The Palm says data
successfully transferred! But zip appears on my computer.
I read somewhere in the maze of info that xp users must
get administrator approval to perform hotsync, but have
no clue as to how to do that. It is amazing to me that
microsoft nor palm have addressed this issue. Perhaps it
is me. If so then it would be a snap for someone to share
the secret of hotsyncing with me. Thanks!

I have Home XP and I have a Palm (T-e) and I have had no problems. I am
logged on XP as administrator. Are you logged on as administrator?
