my hotmail somehow got disconnected how do i get it back? I have shaw cable
connection and use that e mail address also.

How do you mean "disconnected"? Unless you have a paid hotmail account the
only way to access hotmail is with your web browser. Again I ask, what does
"disconnected" mean?

when i trouble shoot i get the message..failed to connect to the service.
this could be due to improper proxy or firewall settings. please review your
proxy and firewall settings.

I do not know how,I am new at this but I did go to windows
firewall..advanced..restore defaults..but it did not change anything.
