When I re-boot or try to access my e-mail at the hotmail site is says going to site and then Done and screen is blank. It does list an IP address, 127.0.0.1. Can you help, someone told me it is blocked? What did I do now??!

Can you do a lookup of Hotmail's IP address? In a DOS shell (aka command prompt), run:

nslookup www.hotmail.com


Can you do a traceroute to Hotmail? In a DOS shell, run:

tracert www.hotmail.com

Can you get to other web sites? If so then it does look like you are blocked. Talked to your network admin or whomever administers your firewall. If this is from your company, they may have blocked all webmail domains because they want all your e-mail while you are supposed to be working for them and while using their property to feed through their mail servers (so they have a copy of every communication).
