Is there something going around? From one day to the next using IE6
suddenly there's a msg after logging in on Hotmail that cookies must
be enabled. Nothing works to correct this.

On another PC, on another broadband link, 6 HRS later the same story.
IE6 logs in OK to Hotmail. Then when I booted up again 3 HRS later,
the same msg that cookies must be enabled to allow access.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Has someone done a number on Bill's baby, and screwed up Hotmail
access?

Fortunately I have a Mozilla browser which works OK to access Hotmail.

Considering that MSFT usually tweaks their sites to favor the MSFT browser,
I find it odd that you would think the problem is with Hotmail when MSFT's
arch enemy's browser is working on the broken site. Odds are, the problem is
with MSIE, not MSN Hotmail.

Clear cache, history, and cookies. Check your time. Round up the usual MSIE
suspects.
