Hi
I regularly need to paste stuff copied from web pages (receipt number
are a good example, as are prices) into excel docs. That copy alway
seems to include formatting, so if I use a simple CTRL V to paste int
and excel cell, the formatting from the page is inserted as well.
I really want it to paste just clear text.
Before I learned about the "paste special" command, I used to hav
notepad open all the time, and paste the stuff there, select soethin
else and copy it, just to clear the buffer, select the text I wante
again, and paste it into excel - no formatting makes it thru tha
arduous process!
Ironically, that's almost faster than doing a "paste special", as it'
all keyboard based!
Help?
Thanks!
