Ok I am trying to clean up my system and under control
panel there are like 25 Hotfix programs which take up
6.22 MB each...is it safe to delete this because it says
they are being run under several different programs

I am glad I am not the only one with this problem. I have more than 25 and they are located in my add and remove programs in the control panel. I was too scared to delete but I am accumulating so many of them. Today I talked with gateway tech and he said to just remove them and it wouldnt do anything to the computer. I ever got it in writing. Here is what he said >>>21 Jun 2004 12:25:59 PM Geoff_GWRA465 says: Diane, you can remove the hot fixes, once you remove the hot fixes, it will reboot your computer, do not worry it reboots everytime you remove the hotfixes. <<<<well i still havent removed them and still dont know if i should. Please help me too,,,thank you, signed confused in tennessee

Diane;
NO
The tech is WRONG!
Do NOT remove them.
You will also remove the fix and leave your computer vulnerable.

You can safely delete the uninstall files:
