windows xp hotfix. What is it?
there's about 15 listed in my add remove programs list.
Do i need to download anything or is it already
downloaded.

Those are your installed Windows Updates.

If everything is working just fine, then leave them alone.

For example if a update was causing problems or was faulty, you could then
easily remove it.
