hotfix xp (2)

I notice that in "Add and Delete" I have the option to delete Windows
Hotfix xp (2). I presume this refers to SP 2, or maybe it doesn't. If
it does, it must be the Beta version, which I might have downloaded by
mistake. I wonder if it can be deleted.

I don't think it refers to SP2. I have it installed and it doesn't show up
in ADD/REMOVE.

No it doesn't. It refers to HFs which may - or may not - be included in SP2
when it's released. Don't delete.
