A 1-by-1 approach. I wanted to get it done faster.

Doesn't answer my question tho; Can you safely uninstall the individual
Hotfixes\Updates from their Folders in C:\Windows, or does that -as the
Uninstaller reports- mess up all the Installations you've done since then?

Any help appreciated.

What "question"? Please reply to the thread, quote the post you are replying
to and don't change the subject line.

Yes, it's entirely possible, but not guaranteed. The catch is that some of
them depend on others being present, so if you remove something that a still
present one looks for, ... well ... .
So, you either have to KNOW, or do them from latest to earlier.
Actually, if you read the hotfix descripts at MS, they tell you when
there are dependencies and warn you that so and so is necessary first, so
perhaps you could work thru that. Others for instance might say this hotfix
must be installed by itself and not with others at the same time, and so on.

IMO you're making a mistake by removing hotfixes, but that is exactly what
the uninstall files are placed there for! If a fix trashes your machine,
you can theoretically back it out.

Thanks for your reply. I don't actually know whether there's anything wrong
with the hotfixes, so I'll leave well alone for now.

I seem to have made a right mess of this thread. Oh well.

Yours
