Hotfix 884558

I have this problem following a RAM upgrade but have not yet been able
to obtain the hotfix from Dell, my laptop manufacturer and I presume I
cannot go direct to Microsoft because its a Dell.

Does anyone have this hotfix?

You should be able to go right to Microsoft for the Hotfix without charge
for support as you've probably never used support.
